RECENT WORK: Arbie Laoque

Hey guys, here’s another blog design I made. People are now into minimal things these days. Having the minimal look gives you the clean feel. And of course it’s very easy to browse and for sure your blog home will load much faster. πŸ™‚

My client for today, I really don’t know her, she added me on Facebook and she messaged me about that she wanted to start blogging. Then I asked her, what platform she would like to use, Tumblr, Blogger, WordPress. Then she decided to go with WordPress. Take note, it’s the self-hosted one. πŸ™‚ She bought a 3 year hosting plan on HostGator, with the help of a 55% OFF code. πŸ™‚

Anyways let me show you what I’ve come up with this design. She gave me enough details for me to start her design.

She wanted to have a minimal look with a touch of pink, I think every client I have, they always wanted to add thisΒ  color on their blog. Well, who would not? Background I used is what I’m using on the photo above. Other details of this is that she wanted to have Slider on the top of the content, and if you visit the link you can see the slider will only show on the homepage, and in the homepage you will see her latest posts with excerpt.

There’s so many things you can do with WordPress, from plugins to the custom pages. So I always recommend having the best CMS in the whole wide web.

And please welcome Arbie on Blogging! She’s an avid fan of Korean stars, not to mention Lee Min Ho. She also like to Travel! So stay tuned on her new posts! πŸ™‚

Yup, buying domain and hosting for it, doesn’t matter to me ahaha! Went back and forth from Tumblr, still WordPress is the best CMS for me. πŸ™‚ Thanks Irish!

Hello, Ate! I just love your designs!! Because of you, I wanted to explore more about blogging. Anyway, I hope you’ll post a tutorial that has something to do with WordPress coding. Hihihi. (I really can’t understand codex wordpress) I really want to transfer to WordPress and design my own template too (like you, I also know how to design templates ^_^), but my skill is only at HTML. T_T I don’t know yet on how to deal with PHP. T_T

Yayyy! I would really really really be happy if you post a tutorial of it. <3 You inspire me a lot! πŸ™‚

Hello Kye, thanks for looking at my works. Like you, I was so noob at first. I started to convert WordPress Themes since 2011 and each year there are always room for improvements, like they always say, am I right? I’m not sure if I’m capable of doing a tutorial on how to convert HTML to WordPress, but I will try dearie. I’m thinking of doing videos for my tutorials, well it’s all about computer stuff not beauty. LOL.

Anyways are you using a self-hosted blog? What’s your blog? πŸ™‚
